This site has been set up for friends of Jen to offer the gift of a donation to help her treat herself to something nice.
Jen has been a real rock for so many of us, and she is suffering rather badly with her allergies right now. As she is unable to get the medication she needs, we thought it might be nice to collect some money to send to her as a gift, that she can use to treat herself, maybe even to some complementary treatment such as acupuncture, reflexology or similar.
Please note:
- I have set this website up so that I can display the "donate" button without drawing Jen's attention to it. I want it to be a surprise for her.
- The "donate" button will take you directly to a PayPal account where the money will be collected and then sent on to Jen in a week or two, once I know everyone who wants to add to the pot has done so (don't worry it you "miss the boat" so-to-speak, we can always send later payments on!)
- PayPal is easy to use and completely secure, so you can donate to this gift knowing the money will all go to Jen.
PayPal is incredibly easy to use, but for those of you new to it, here is a quick run-through:
- Click on the "donate" button below
- You will be sent to PayPal's website and you have two options: to sign in to PayPal or donate directly using your debit or credit card. If you're never going to use PayPal again, then choose the second option as it is just as secure an option (you will notice the padlock sign on your web browser to indicate the security of this process!).
- As this is a "run through" for those unfamiliar to PayPal, I am assuming you will choose to pay via debit or credit card, so to do this simply click on the link that says "continue" in the lower left hand side of the page.
- Type in the amount you wish to donate at the top of the page and click "update totals"
- Fill in your details.
- Click "Review Donation and Continue"
- The next page gives you the option to "leave a message for Jen". Click on the link if you wish to do so.
- Check the details are correct and click on the "donate" link at the bottom of the page
And that's it... your donation is complete and you will get a confirmation number and confirmation email.
Of course, if you wish to sign up for PayPal for ease of use in future online transactions, you can simply register on the site too.
So, I hope that makes sense... here's the donate button to get it all started!!
Remember: you can donate anonymously, or leave a message with your donation that will be sent on to Jen with the money. It is entirely up to you.
